Stuck in an infinite loop, Josef rows through his memory of Copenhagen in November of 1944 on the night his boat brought him to safety across the strait. Written with director David Adler, End of Night is the first attempt (that I know of) to make a feature length for Virtual Reality. As a viewer, your attention is split between the glitchy memory landscape surrounding you and your narrator Josef who tries to capture your eyes to make his confession. In Danish the word for story and history is the same, and the meeting of the two is one of the interests that drove me to this project. Winner of ‘Best VR Narrative’ at Venice International Film Festival and The Crystal Ball at CPH:PIX.
